This is the first time I went jogging around the subdivision, I woke up 4:00 in the morning and prepared for a much needed exercise. I felt my body had become too lazy to feel sleepy and tired almost at the end of each day when I haven't done something which required a lot of energy.
I started the day right. The jogging wasn't bad at all, I've always thought I'd look awful running around when most of our neighbors had seen me running when I was younger. The air was cool, there were some athletes and PSG (Presidential Security Group) and some elderly people doing their daily cardio exercise.
Ran around the Malacañang Palace, the whole of San Miguel and within our subdivision too, running made me think about how my entire day would be spent and also thought of just about anything going on with my life. It was good. I felt my body heat up after a few minutes and I've missed the sweating, and I liked that my heartbeat ran fast.
Oh, by the way, I thought I was Gabrielle Solis when I passed by this cute runner heading Nagtahan, I didn't chase up on him though, instead I went back around and took another lap of my direction. hahah..
After an hour, I noticed that I ran just 30 minutes, with the other half as my "breathing period", I should really be doing this as a routine so I can progressively have my strength back.
I had breakfast after, calories, carbs and fat intake have replaced my lost sweat, well I guess I need a full hour next Saturday.
I went shopping alone at Robinson's Place Manila ~ they were on sale! I was supposed to go with Jiggs, but he texted me before I left. he said he went early and was about to go home, only to find out that he was also there with someone. Isn't that irritating..? He could've politely said "no", I would accept whatever reason he had, I wouldn't care, just drop being rude. I am not naive, I didn't make a big deal out of it, we patched things up that night.
I started my evening with a dinner with a guy, it was the first time I went out with a "blogger", it started when I got an email from him and gave a comment on this post, he likes Thai food, so we've been emailing each other the past week and we decided to go out and try Thai cuisine at Temptasian Cuisine in Megamall Strip. He was nice, funny and smart.. really interesting. I really had a nice one.
We had to split so we ended our night. He met up with his friends and I with mine.
CONGRATULATIONS to Herbert, 'twas his graduation. He's one of the smartest people I know. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, among other top titles from the De La Salle University Chemical Engineering, he treated us at Malate. It was fun.
That night also, I've finally met JV Almeda, I've always heard of him when we go out but we weren't able to meet. Anyway, we talked that night and started friendship, since we'll be goin' out with him during the parties. I learned that he knew the guy I have a crush on, Clark del Carmen. JV said that he turned him down when he told him that he liked him... there's a lot of "he", so that's pretty confusing on who liked whom.. hahah..
To cut the story short, JV turned the guy I have a crush on down.. JV did not entertain him. got it?
I still have a crush on him. aww..! *lols. I'm not so sure, though, how I can be friends with "him".. at least. Uhm ~ not through JV.
The whole night's highlight discussion was about JC's boyfriend! Everyone was yelling: "WHERE'S THE JUSTICE?!!" * really shocking * ..............more about it next time...
Well, we went home around 3:00 in the morning of Sunday, and later that day was Herbert's graduation lunch party at their house in Quezon City, so I woke up 10:00 in the morning, still sleepy, I felt like I was sleep walking-bath-dressing up all in one, as if my feet think on its own... met with friends and headed on to the celebration.
We decided to leave the party and have coffee, we decided at the Podium, there was this "Piano Recital", students by Erlinda Matute, the kids were good, we didn't watch it, but learned that what we've been hearing all the while at Starbucks were not from a CD but a live performance i.e. Rondo Alla Turca by Mozart. we went in and we watched the last parts of the program.
Michael's co-teacher was a member of the panel of judges, an art historian herself, we talked to her and said that the teens were really good, apparently they are.
That afternoon, we practically discussed the entire time some of the basic "rules of law" in the Philippine Justice System, since Boom was studying for his final examinations this week. Learned that justice may not be called justice as what we expect it to be.. uhm, like JC's boyfriend..? *lols.
Do you know Tigidong by Ali Sotto? it was a "Last Song Syndrome" (LSS) for the four of us.. arrggh..!
